Reuven T. Herssein
Reuven T. Herssein is a founding member of Herssein and Herssein. For several years, he served exclusively as trial counsel at a Tampa- based insurance defense firm, overseeing and managing a large caseload having a full spectrum of legal complexity. Reuven Herssein is an accomplished trial lawyer, successfully taking cases to verdict.
Reuven has also counseled both international and domestic corporations on a variety of issues involving not only litigation strategy but transactional matters, as well. He currently serves as a legal consultant to an international media-services corporation based in New York, advising the Board of Directors on a variety of legal issues, as well as assisting with corporate needs, including structuring complex mergers and acquisitions, preparing employee compensation packages, issuing stock options, and plans for profit sharing.
Reuven graduated with honors from the University of Miami School of Law. He was also an honors graduate of Touro College in New York, where he was on the Dean’s List and Vice President of Student Government. Reuven speaks four languages: he is proficient in Portuguese, Hebrew, and Spanish as well as English.
Reuven Herssein is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association.
Reuven and his wife, Iris, reside in the Miami Beach area with their three children. Reuven is active in his synagogue as well as several other religious activities and charities, and is Past President of the Rimini Beach Condominium Association.
